God Is More Than Enough

When I had nothing left to physically hang on to

I realized God was all I needed.

God is more than enough,

To calm my raging storms,

God is more than enough,

To lead and guide me through the perils of life,

God is more than enough,

To crush all my enemies,

Even the ones that reside in my head.

God is more than enough,

To teach me all I need to lift myself out of any pit 

And rise to the mountaintops of life.

Mountaintops and Valleys of Life...

I stood on the mountaintops
and thought life was beautiful,
Until I fell into the valleys.

I saw light and beauty all around,
Until I got lost in a dark tunnel.

I had many victories
And thought I had this life all figured out,
Until I lost everything,
 and was side-swept out to sea.


I thought I knew who I was,
 who the world had made me,
Until I found Him,
And discovered my way out of the valleys,
the dark tunnel, and the sea,
And discovered my Destiny.

My God

My heart sings,
My feet dance,
My mind is filled with wonder,
My face is full of delight,
And I am filled with hope,
Because I know my maker.

He is my teacher,
My savior,
My leader,
My protector,
My king,
My shelter,
My mountain mover,
My comforter,
My hero,
My rock,
My Lion,
My fortress,
My warrior,
My light,
My  father,
and my friend

The Word

Get the word in you,
And allow the word to operate in you.

So you are led by the word,
Taught by the word,
Encouraged by the word,
Built up by the word,
Get discernment by the word,
Are strengthened by the word,
And get solid footing on the word.

So you can walk in the power and authority
of the one who gave you the word.

What is Sad?

Sad is growing old and never having really lived,

Sad is believing the enemies lies and not God's truths,

Sad is letting love pass you by because your heart was filled with fear,

Sad is holding onto anger and hate and not allowing forgiveness to free you from your prison,

Sad is forgetting how to smile after a good cry,

Sad is falling down and refusing to fight your way back up,

Sad is growing old alone because you wanted everyone to be perfect and you forgot your weren't perfect either, 

Sad is always wanting everything your own way like a two year old,

Sad is looking so hard for blessings that you forget to be a blessing to others

All Things Change

                                      

All things change with time,
Seasons change,
Ideas change,
Places change.

We change,
Our likes and dislikes change,
We grow older,
Some of us grow wiser,
Some of our minds expand.

We leave things behind,
Some we forget,
Some we reject,
Some we can't hang on to.

There is one thing that never changes,
It remains the same throughout the ages,
It is the word of God,
Which is alive and active,
It is able to touch lives,
It transforms,
It inspires,
It gives hope,
It gives life.

I Know Who He Is, Do You?

My heat sings,

My feet dance,

My mind is full of wonder,

And my face is full of  joy.

Because I know my maker,

And he is my king, my savior, My protector, 

My teacher, My shelter, My provider, My hope,

My father and My friend.
